I wrote this for our friends’ Joanna and Eric’s wedding. They picked Genesis 2:18 & 24 as their theme passage. It was originally performed by Allison, Jun, and Matt.
I like to think of myself as an island
But I’m learning a different line
That the branch cannot grow stronger
When it’s cut off from the vine
You are a gift- you are a blessing in my life
And so I respond to His calling
To walk on by your side

By the grace that God allots me
